Yeah, this one's tough to address because I wasn't there when she said it. I heard it second hand from my husband. If I had been there, I definitely would have said something to her. I definitely feel like most baby boomers do not see neurodivergence or mental health challenges as legitimate. They don't get how ADHD or depression or anxiety could cause someone to struggle so much with everyday tasks.

Thanks for responding. That's an interesting way to frame it that I never thought of before - that cleaning is sort of a… talent, for lack of a better word. I guess I feel like there's this expectation for everyone, especially women, to be super clean. But I've never been that person. I think I can do a little better but yeah I'm never gonna have knack for it per se.
