What kind of scotch did you use? Is it something peaty or not? I don’t know what Bénédictine tastes like, but I’m guessing NOT peaty.
Thanks for the heads up on that game. Looks fun!
A little off topic, but on first glance I thought that website was called fart caller.
On topic, I’ve never Heard of this service. I still haven’t setup anything like this. Might give it a try.
This is my wife’s favorite cocktail.(Has been for years now)
As an aside. What’s a decent alternative to green chartreuse, since it’s impossible to find?
I can’t updoot you enough. I hate that so much too.
I moved from Arch to Bazzite as my day to day. I enjoy my time more than with Arch. More than a few times I went to do updates or install something and it took forever. Could be (probably is) my fault for not knowing how to skip some of it at the time? I find Bazzite to be intuitive and cutting edge enough for my liking. The gaming aspect of the OS makes certain things easier too.
Seems they want to force you to use their “Car Thing” voice assistant. Probably to listen into your conversations…
I’ve been enjoying bazzite!
Pretty sure they’re referring to Japanese style iced coffee. https://www.seriouseats.com/japanese-style-iced-coffee
I have lawnchair and it supports work profile. At least as far as I know. I can swipe left/right to see my work apps in the app drawer. Not sure if there’s something else.
I’m running 14 beta 2 https://github.com/LawnchairLauncher/lawnchair/releases
We’ve had three yes, but what about 4th crisis?
<Insert meme here or something>
It looks like it uses chrome for certain data, and I’m not a fan of that. Any idea if I can change that to use Firefox?
My favorite is from drink shouts (gone a long time). Still might be sweet for your taste, but definitely needs the high proof bourbon to help cut it a little. Biggest difference is the addition of bitters (and the inversion of the liquor as you mentioned).
1.5 oz Amaretto (Luxardo)
.75 oz. High-Proof Bourbon (Knob Creek)
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
2 tsp. Simple Syrup
.5 oz. Egg White, Beaten
2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters (The Bitter Truth)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ICE and shake for a few seconds (this is called “dry shaking” and helps the egg whites blend). Then add ice, and shake very thoroughly. Strain into a chilled, ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a Luxardo maraschino cherry.
Sounds delightful! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing!
Hopefully someone smarter than me can help. You can always do what I do, and just blow up the install and start fresh. 😂
Darn.
I suppose you could also try using the lsof command to see if it shows anything different?
Some examples: https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/unix-linux-check-if-port-is-in-use-command/
This may sound silly, but have you tried restarting? I feel like that worked for me when I had a similar issue in the past. Something was holding onto the port, but it wasn’t showing up anywhere. Restart got it to let go and it worked afterwards.
They probably think that if they’re not in the library they’re spending their parents money at some store/coffee shop/restaurant. While that will be true for some I imagine the rest will roam around in hordes causing “mayhem”. Either that or the church.
