That car being driverless could have saved their life.

The article doesn’t say what happened. Without more information, the outcome could be fair. Arbitrarily putting people in prison for an accident isn’t going to solve anything.
I think it's all education. If people understand that credential managers are easier and safer then there would be a lot more uptake.
It's all relative, someone who never touched on Fourier or Laplace might see Pythagoras or trigonometry as the peak of mathematics and something very difficult. There will be some hardcore mathematicians that dream in Laplace…(shudders)
An accident assumes no one was at fault. The driver broke at least one law by driving too close to a cyclist, it was not an accident.
The reason you take your life in to your hands when you go out of your house is because people flippantly break the law while driving. True accidents are uncommon.
Don’t rise to it, bullies do it for entertainment or to look big. Keep your head down and focus on the things you enjoy in life. Be open about your autism, you never know where you might find some allies.
How do you get them to put rules in place that stop them from being corrupt. It’s a crappy downward slope.
Sounds like a good thing to try. Good luck!
Have you tried over 130 without padded shorts? I find that if my saddle fits, padded shorts are going to affect that and may add rubbing or pressure in areas that your ass isn’t used to especially if you normally ride without.
I don’t ride anywhere near your level but I’ve ridden 160 without padding and was fine because my saddle is comfortable normally.
I have a friend who uses a saddle like that on his bike because he has to sit in a very upright position due to his physiology. It works for him and it’s very comfortable but I doubt it would work well in a typical riding position on long journeys.
What’s the speed of the road? I would personally join the road earlier so that I can manoeuvre across with the traffic, but if the road is super fast I’d probably pick A. That is unless right on red is permitted, then I’m not sure.
