Wie unterscheiden sie sich, also in ihrer Wirkung?

Richtig und diese Überwachung ist krass, wenn man überlegt was die Autos heutzutage alles für Sensorik an Bord haben. Das wird alles nach Hause gefunkt, garantiert weiter verkauft. Denn reguliert hat die Politik da natürlich nix und so ist niemand mit einem modernen Auto auch Admin über die IT des Autos. Eigentlich ein unhaltbarer Zustand.

Und diese ganze absurde Debatte vor dem Hintergrund dass ca 20% des Bundeshaushaltes als Zuschuss in die Rentenkasse fließen. Das sind ca 50% (113 Mrd. €) der Ausgaben für soziales im Bundeshaushalt verglichen mit ca 23% (43 Mrd. €) ALG2 Leistungen (Zahlen 2022). Dazu kommen die Ausgaben der Kommunen für Miete, Kita, etc. für ALG2 Empfänger. Wobei der Bund inzwischen einen Großteil der kommunalen Kosten für KdU übernimmt, das also schon im Bundeshaushalt zu großen Teilen enthalten ist.

Die Erhöhung des Bürgergelds ist ein winziger Bruchteil davon. Es sind peanuts mit denen sich niemals auch nur annähernd die Milliardenlöcher der ausbleibenden Verschuldung gestopft werden können und jede Debatte darüber verbietet sich, ist ehrlos, populistisch, appelliert an niederste Instinkte und ist volkswirtschaftlich blödsinnig. Die Abschaffung perverser Subventionen muss oberste Priorität haben. Das ist auch keine “versteckte Steuererhöhung”, wenn man eine Subvention auslaufen lässt…

Ganz schön butthurt sind manche. Also von mir aus musst du nicht zu hexbear :D

Warte schon seit dem Abgasbetrug darauf, dass die dt. Autoindustrie endlich mal aufs Maul fliegt.

We can already do that today with inverse modeling of atmospheric substance transport and the satellites you mentioned. Heard a talk about the topic on a conference 4 years ago. That’s how scientists could pinpoint the emission source for some illegally emmitted CFCs in China (and afaik the Chinese govt acted accordingly). With high resolution data you can also use these methods to detect methane leaks in gas pipelines etc.

Payback is fair? Even though these very digital megacorporations are just now facing antitrust lawsuits for very good reasons? The only argument for having to use these platforms as a content creator is reach. But if Google, Amazon, Meta, etc. only got their market-dominating positions by illegal means, nothing is fair about wanting payback.

I am paying money to people creating content for me directly, even for some YouTube channels. If I were to abide by Google’s rules, I’d have to pay double. For the infrastructure & the people actually producing the content. Sorry… Why would I? I will not pity a monopolist because of their lost profits as long as I can circumvent it somehow.

Still makes much more sense to build buildings or furniture from wood than to just burn it for heating and claim it’s a renewable energy source… With buildings you will at least be sure to keep that carbon out of the atmosphere for a longer period.

I didn’t write a single world about empathy vor lack thereof. I do have empathy with the palestinians who suffer enormously from the attacks. I have empathy for all humans that are suffering. But empathy is not the sole category through which we can judge the actions of the POTUS of any politician. Also it’s hard to tell who is empathetic and who is not. Do you have empathy for the countless Israeli families who lost relatives in the terrorist attacks?

Well, I don’t think that’s true either. “Israel is” is already giving away your biased view of the issue. I think there definitely is a majority among arabic as well as Israeli palestinians who’d prefer to have peace with each other and prosper. Sadly those sane people are betrayed by extremists on both sides who commit crimes while claiming it’s for the best of their own population, which is clearly wrong and delayed peace since decades.

If you don’t want to accept these “complications”, fine. Keep your beliefs about evil occupier nation vs poor oppressed freedom fighters. I don’t care.

Could be satire but at this point I’m afraid it’s just radicalized cynicism. And I think that’s the reason why some do think it’s not funny anymore. It’s not healthy for anyone to really believe the world is in fact running like the Onion is implying. Yes, countries and struggles for power lead to a lot of atrocities. But in most cases not because of blatant bloodthirst and sadism of the leadership. That assumption is just crass and downright ignores the complicated reality of our world.
