Mh… I don’t see anything factually wrong with your post. The grammar checks out, too. … However, your comment has nothing to do with a deer or a face, your avatar is AI generated and… well that’s enough effort for today. Make more mistakes if you want more feedback. You’re making this unnecessarily difficult for everyone!

  • Last time I tried to play Mass Effect (through Game Pass) it told me I need to install the EA App. However I couldn’t install the app because “you have to uninstall Origin” first.
So I uninstalled Origin and all games I had installed through Origin. Still I couldn’t install the app till I restarted the PC. Then I had to login to EA via browser to verify my account. Then I could login in the new app and then I could play the game.

After my game pass ran out, I looked at the Steam page of Mass Effect to buy it, but Steam said that Origin (not the EA app) is required. At that point I was done with EA games. Maybe it was an outdated info. I don’t care. I surely would’ve got the game running eventually, but I just don’t care enough.

And don’t get me started about the Ubisoft launcher, which doesn’t seem to understand that I don’t want to run games as an admin user.

  • To me it seems, a rich minority is gaming the system (political theatre, Fox news, CNN… --> public opinion), hoping to secure wealth and power against “the will of the people”, up to a point where the system will eventually break and be replaced by dictatorship.

Ironically it is much more dangerous to be a billionaire in Russia or China than in the US or Europe.

Maybe that should be our message: it seems easier to exploit us without checks and balances, but having none can be very dangerous for you and your family.

However, the leader who will eventually emerge, the one using AI to check this comment, will be best for all of us, I’m sure!

  • My understanding: light can best be described as an excitation of the electromagnetic field of spacetime. This excitation has a frequency, like an oscillation. Therefore light appears like a wave and we observe the Doppler effect. However, when interacting with other excitations, the “wave” collapses and behaves like a point like particle.

This applies not only to light, but to all known particles, e.g. the protons in your body. The only difference to photons are additional spacetime fields that are involved (like the Higgs field).

The weirdest part to me, is the collapse of the imaginary wave function and how it leads to ideas like “Many Worlds”.
