Left SJW due to inconsistent federation policy and not putting up federating / defederating Hexbear up to community vote like others before.

9/6 is the PS5 date. Still no word from Larian on the Mac date - the last I heard was when they originally announced it would be delayed, and that they didn’t want to give a date and not meet it.
I just checked Wikipedia which I think I got it from and it states 9/6 but the link cited as source doesn’t state it anywhere.
grumble
I was similarly disappointed but IIRC it was delayed to September 6th.
I wonder how will it run in Act 3 since DX11 is so much more performant than Vulkan and I assume they use either MoltenVK or straight Metal. It’s likely the reason for the delay.
There’s a caveat. Most countries will heavily regulate access to limited resources, for example radio frequency bands. SpaceX is occupying defined orbit which means it’s perfectly reasonable to ensure society benefits from this privilege.
Given the non-commercial nature of Lemmy it’s worth considering how much strain this would put on instances. It’s all a balancing act of user convenience and cost to instance owners and I wonder how much Lemmy apps consider this. I don’t have strong opinion on either approach, just my $0.02.
I have never met one in person either. I’ve met countless on the internet. It’s as if it was a manufactured outrage instigated by a genocidal regime. It worth addressing talking points distributed among that group.
Just a suggestion - it might be worth adding some kind of dupe check:

Reddit piracy sub is rather neutered and every piracy related sub is quite explicit in having no links to pirated content, torrents included. Dbzer0 instance is very free for all.
I watched LTT for Top Gear of computer hardware videos. This commentary from GN made me wonder when was the last time they did one. I couldn’t remember and unsubscribed.
I’d be interested in videos by Alex, Nicholas and maybe few others. Hope they go their own way some day. Alex videos are probably quite expensive to do so he’s probably stuck there :/
Yeah, it’s surprising since it should have lower CPU overhead. Here’s Digital Foundry analysis: https://youtu.be/V9Kc8025H7U
