Plugshare is great to plan things out for a long trip.

Back in the day I used to check out civfanatics.com for mods. There were tons for Civ4:BTS that made it so much cooler. After playing that and then playing Civ5, I was incredibly disappointed. Civ6 is better, but not by much. I still go back to Civ4 when I need my “one more turn” fix.

Wow I haven’t thought of destiny of an emperor in decades. One of my childhood friends had a copy and let me borrow it. It took forever but I managed to beat it. Box art was weird but cool.

I played Civilization for years. When Civ 5 came out, I was incredibly psyched. I specifically went to PAX one year just so I could get new information on the game. When I finally played it, it was the biggest disappointment of my gaming life. It just doesn’t feel like any of the previous ones. Civ 6 is way better in almost every way.

I’m wary of Civ 7 though. How can they improve upon the game without adding minigames or breaking it into insane amounts of DLC eg. Stellaris? I probably won’t pick it up until it’s on a steam sale with all its DLC at 50% off or something stupid.

But what can be done? She’s in a safe state for her kind, isn’t she? It’s not like they would suddenly realize what kind of person she is - they already know.

You seem more reasonable then a lot of the other mouth breathers on lemmy. What policy decisions do you look for in a presidential candidate besides being anti genocide? I have yet to hear anyone from that camp speak on any other positions they care about, and it’s rather worrying.
