So we have one representative trying to straighten the one group of followers, who’ve established a negative reputation as being the entry level for child sex abusers.
And we have another group of representatives who’ve replaced THAT group by worshiping a conman.

As much as it occasionally annoys me for people to go ga-ga over bigfoot or nessie or UFOs, I would trade that in exchange for current conspiracy theories where people are rampantly aggressive to try and prove their conspiracy theories right. We’re talking anti-vaxxers, QAnon .etc

Do you really think it’s that’s simple? Tell me, how do you think we’re to accomplish a revolution without shedding blood? What is the aftermath and the road after such a revolution, should it succeed?
You see, nobody in the world really thinks about these things enough as they like to believe that they do. They think that they can get off their couch, revolutionize, then just go back to their couch and watch TV like nothing happened? No, it doesn’t work like that. You need progressive ideals and a bigger map of the change you want to see in the country. And there isn’t anybody in the world that I know of, that can do that. Nor is anyone here going to try.
So I don’t want to hear about “need a revolution” unless I know that fucker at least has a roadmap in how to accomplish it and what will happen after it.

At this point, everyone is breaking the law online already. It’s just a matter of the level.
This will not do anything. Kids are typically dumb online, adventurous, but dumb online who’ll do dumb things in unpredictable fashions. It’s like putting all of those plug covers to make sure children don’t pull them off, except they will and do, prompting them to curiously stick a fork into the socket.
That senator is more concerned about what’s online for kids, than how Republicans are actively pushing kids to work jobs that are unsafe for them. Might want to re-evaluate your priorities, dude.
Don’t even get me started how kids have long been able to lie about their age online to get to adulterated content.
We got to vote for it, is all I can say. All of these surveys, studies .etc mean nothing unless we the American people, get off our asses collectively and vote for the people who can get this done.

I hear you there. The last full time involvement of participating on Reddit for me was like a couple months ago. I couldn’t complain about my job anymore, like everyone else that normally complains about their jobs, without getting downvoted to oblivion over it. Why? Because “dats what reddit does!” is pretty much the only logic that it can boil down to when it comes to Reddit - it’s because that’s their bastardized logic and they happily carry it out. Just so anybody they don’t like, is discouraged from participating.
Everyone turns everything into an unnecessary debate because people want to sound smarter than they really are.
E-mail is never going to lose relevance. It is too heavily used for it to go away. It’s used to register to many, many places online.
Facebook is just being treated as a place you glance into to see how everyone you know is doing. Nobody really uses it for anything beyond that.
And it’s like we have the inventory but nobody feels like stocking the shelves.
They mind as well just come out and say it;
“I SUPPORT PEDOPHILES!”
“I SUPPORT ANTI-LGBTQ! WE’RE TAKING THIS COUNTRY BACK!”
