Why wouldn’t Daily Beast check first before reporting he said this?
He didn’t get endorsed in the primary, but did in the general.

Exactly.
No one is talking about trump doing the selfless thing, because it’s not going to happen.
But Biden is supposed to be better than trump.
And unlike trump, Biden isn’t facing prison if he doesn’t personally win. He’s just trying to stop trump, but so are lots of other people. So shouldn’t we let the person with the best chances go?
Like, if you had a game winning free throw, and any player can take it, are you putting Shaq up there or Michael Jordan?
Like, Rudy is a great movie, and America loves to root for the underdog. But you don’t put him in on the last play of the Super Bowl.
You put your best players in. And Biden and his team in the DNC are obviously not our best people. They can step aside now, or after they lose and let trump back in the White House.
It’s important to remember Bernie was set to have the lead after Super Tuesday.
Then within like 24 hours of Super Tuesday, pretty much every other candidate dropped out and endorsed Biden.
It was too late notice for Bernie to campaign in all the states, or for voters to decide. They just followed their candidates advice and voted Biden.
Biden never had a mandate, and 2020 came down to a handful of states by like 10k votes each.
Mainstream media has been calling him “the next fdr” for so long I think he legitimately believes. He has no idea how unpopular he is with the average voter, because he doesn’t interact with the average voter. His campaign is tailored to getting donations from the wealthy, so Biden just gets handshakes from the famous and wealthy that tell him he’s perfect.
He’s insulated from real feedback and believe his yes men.

Biden supporters try to defend Biden, and always end up making the argument that trump is terrible and/or the president isn’t important
So like, we should just replace him is the logical conclusion.
But that’s the opposite of what they set out to say.

But it’s a well known joke even in gun communitie that those are just “rob me stickers”.
Anyone with those stickers is an idiot with a gun. So rational people avoid them and the owners think it’s because they’re tough. Meanwhile criminals check to see if there’s a gun in it when it’s unoccupied or follow them home and rob them when the truck (it’s always a truck) is gone.

Yeah, be cautious of anyone that sources polls with screenshots and not links.
I looked into Data for Progress, and it seems like they sold out last election.

Party establishment started favoring them because they were good at coming up with polls that led to donations. So they’ve moved away from pushing for progress, and now push polls that defend the establishment.
A few years ago the founder was forced out of the company because it came to light he was betting on elections and using the company to try and effect the races so he’d win his bets…
And trying to recruit his employees for a straw donor scheme…

Chicken rules are just prison rules.
You pick the biggest one, and punt it across the yard. Then it attacks the second biggest one and you’re done.
If you let one of them attack you first, then the rest are going to want to see how they measure up.
It’s like the billionaires that build huge apocalypse bunkers and plan to staff them with servants and private military contractors…
If the apocalypse hits the staff would mutiny in days/weeks.
I think that’s why there’s such a big push to AI. The rich know slaves eventually rebel. And Skynet while possible is less likely than a slave revolt.
It looks stupid but is insanely effective.

Biden and the DNC is asking tens of millions of voters to vote for someone they don’t want because stopping trump is so important. But refuse to step aside to help stop trump.
That’s not us working together to stop trump.
It’s Biden and the DNC holding the entire country hostage with the threat of trump if we don’t elect someone we don’t want.
Which just hurts Biden’s chances of stopping trump even more, and shows that even if he wins, he’s just going to do whatever the fuck he wants like continue to violate US and international law. Which is why:

If Biden really cared most about stopping Trump, he’d fucking retire.

But if the only defense of Biden is trump is worse, that’s still not a reason to not replace Biden with someone better.

trump is a major threat to American democracy. We should be running a capable and charismatic candidate against him to maximize the chances of stopping him.

Mr. Biden has said that he is the candidate with the best chance of taking on this threat of tyranny and defeating it. His argument rests largely on the fact that he beat Mr. Trump in 2020. That is no longer a sufficient rationale for why Mr. Biden should be the Democratic nominee this year.
At Thursday’s debate, the president needed to convince the American public that he was equal to the formidable demands of the office he is seeking to hold for another term. Voters, however, cannot be expected to ignore what was instead plain to see: Mr. Biden is not the man he was four years ago.
The president appeared on Thursday night as the shadow of a great public servant. He struggled to explain what he would accomplish in a second term. He struggled to respond to Mr. Trump’s provocations. He struggled to hold Mr. Trump accountable for his lies, his failures and his chilling plans. More than once, he struggled to make it to the end of a sentence.
This isn’t just one person’s opinion, it’s coming from the Times editorial board.
And while I don’t often agree with them, it’s telling that such a “moderate” organization is saying Biden needs to step aside.
But I’m sure people are going to call them trump supporters now.
The biggest thing you can do to make your property a target for theft is advertise you’re into guns.
Criminals love stealing guns. Especially since some people keep thousands of dollars worth of guns sprinkled around their house, and gun owners like this are unlikely to write down/register serial numbers.
It’s also insanely easy to fence them. There is a robust used market and resources to advertise anonymously and they hold value well.

The current DNC is not going to support RCV. Some state parties might, but the DNC is run by moderates who know most of their votes are because literally the only other option is a Republican.
To get rcv, we need to get a progressive president who will actually try to fix the DNC.
Obama wasn’t perfect, and he made a lot of mistakes.
But the one that keeps fucking us over is instead of fixing the DNC when he had a shot, he just ignored them because they just ignored him in 08.
If Obama had tried to fix the DNC, Bernie would have won in 2016, would be exiting his second term, and likely handing the torch to president AOC.
trump would still be known as a shitty reality TV host, and we’d all be better off.
At this point tho, the DNC may be beyond saving.
I don’t understand this chain of logic why we need to keep Biden:

And it’s not just up to him. It’s up to the DNC.
We are not stuck with Biden.
Biden and the DNC just know that’s the only way people will vote for him, so they’ve been reporting it for like 5 years now.

He was not endorsed in the primary.
He was endorsed in the general in 2020.
Biden didn’t win be a lot by 2020. But he has a habit of telling anyone that doesn’t support him 100% that he doesn’t need them
