Also, /e/os supports an official gsi, which can be installed without root.

That said, these phones aren’t suited for people that need absolute security and privacy. They’re more experimental and aimed at enthusiasts of the project who want to support it.

Some software developers prefer to host their own repos and have more control over the release process and/or don’t want to fill all the criteria for being included on f-droid, so they create their own repos. Some of these apps can still be found on vanilla fdroid, but often aren’t updated so frequently.

Izzyondroid, on the other hand, is a different project, aimed at hosting different apps that are usually from smaller devs and can’t be included on fdroid yet, for different reasons.

The greatest thing about fdroid is that it allows anyone to create their own repos and you aren’t forced to depend on anyone.

O trabalho de ui era muito bom. Sinto falta de algo assim.Eles faziam um sistema muito bonito e fácil de instalar, com conceitos que só se tornaram comuns anos depois, e isso tudo na época do kde3.

A do pc fraco nem é falsa, mas apenas omite o fato de rodar muito bem em pcs modernos.

Qual modelo?

É geralmente aquela questão de tradeoff entre cpu e memória, mas acho quase sempre valer a pena, até mesml nos pcs super fajutos que já usei, com escassez de ambos recursos, o zram deu uma ajuda boa. Normalmente a gente tem mais gargalo na memória e o cpu fica ocioso do que o contrário.

Como disseram, tem a questão da energia, que nunca parei lra observar, já que nunca parei pra medir a diferença.

Mas lembrando que o zram não é necessariamente usado o tempo todo, mas só quando o sistema faz swap, então se você tiver bastante memória, não vai ficar consumindo cpu à toa, o que é mais um ponto positivo.
