I only see a pen and part of a spiral notebook.

Great job! Keep going!
Leaving behind a tool is never a good day. Especially when you don’t notice untill the next time you need it!
Honestly, that’s an interesting idea. I don’t really like collecting but if I ever had to buy another one that could be an option.
I had the same problem. The oxide makes it gritty and stiff so I also added oil. Luckily, just by using it over time most of the moving parts are smooth. I agree that I’d probably also buy it again. It fits my main needs perfectly.
The biggest reason was form factor then price. I wanted something that could fit my pocket comfortably. I already have a dedicated pocket knife and screw driver so while it would be nice to have better options those weren’t too much of a concern.
3, 2, 1 Let’s jam!

Also lean slightly forward and try to get a good cadence ~170 spm. Having a shorter stride will help you land correctly on your foot and it’ll be more efficient.
Good luck!
I’ve used the app Just Run Zero to 5k and it’s something I’ll always recommend. It breaks down every run into warm up/cool down, timed walks and time running. There is a trainer that will tell you when to start walking/running/turn back. Every few runs you’ll be running more and walking less. Eventually it’ll be straight timed runs.
I believe the rule of thumb for even starting to run is being able to walk 4 miles in about an hour. That would be about 15 minutes per mile of walking. If you can’t do that then I would start with walking a lot first. Get your body used to moving a lot and build some muscle and endurance before you begin to run.
Most of the backpacks I think of all have a laptop compartment. The only two that come to mind that don’t are Jansport and Fjallraven. I don’t have any experience with either but I know they’ve been around for years(decades).

Thanks! It’s the Everyman Grafton Mini Twist. I like it except for how slippery it is. They released a matte model that has a textured finish. I would recommend trying that one over the original.
It takes Parker style refills and I currently use Ohto PG-105NP.
Thank you, I’m enjoying it.
I use a notebook to write down tasks, to-do’s, lists ie grocery, material or supplies for those tasks. I’ll also write ideas or crude sketches. The other day I was waiting for carry out with my niece and we played dots to pass the time.
Most of the time it isn’t anything special. I don’t journal(I’ve tried) or write down philosophical things(I haven’t tried). Just basic daily things.
Restarting a Zero to 5k and then on to 10k.
I’ll have to start with walking and dieting to lose weight before I start running. I’ll continue the diet while I run. My goal is to lose 50 lbs this year and increase my health overall.
Everytime I eat certain meats I end up with food stuck in my teeth.
This has happened enough times that I wished I carried toothpicks. So now I carry a slim brass tube filled with wood toothpicks.
