Windex to clean, let it dry for a bit, then a layer of gluestick has always worked for me, as long as the bed heats to 60°C for printing. The z offset has to be a bit different for PETG than PLA, which can be a bit tricky. I think (been a whole since I’ve printed PETG) it had to be a bit higher than PLA, so it wouldn’t “squish” as much as PLA. Seemed a bit counterintuitive, but it solved most of my problems

2. Numerous comments essentially asked "what the fuck does that even mean?"
3. When faced with an opportunity to introduce more people to this obscure topic with some modicum of grace, you instead made what appeared to be a sarcastic, disparaging comment that people should obviously just know what you're talking about.
4. When called out for #3, you decided that everyone in this thread clearly hated the obscure topic that none of them had even heard of, rather than realizing that people reacted poorly to your poorly disguised arrogance and pretentious comments.

Looking back, there were definite jumps between generations, but at the time it definitely felt gradual after xbox->360/PS2->PS3. The jump to Xbox/PS2 was incredible at the time
