While I’m all for dynamic swapping during gameplay, in the menus I suggest an option to disable controller, in case there is a malfunction. Also, to the same problem I’d suggest havinge the mouse cursor to have a) priority, that affects the menu element under the cursor (not the element selected) and b) a fade out time, so it can be active at the same time as controller is active, to prevent the case, where the game detects controller to be drifting. This will be a godsent feature, when, for some reason, even removing the controller does not fix the game detecting the drifting input.

Also, it would be cool to have a manual option to force displayed prompts, not only between keyboard and controller, but also between x-input, Direct-input and PlayStation controllers.

I would so much like to love peertube, but I have yet to find any instance that hosts the trash reevant to my interests. Mostly they either are filled with reuploads from YouTube, or are full of radicalized conspiracy theories (which I encounter very rarely on any other form of fediverse).

And then there is the “dumploads”, which makes the instances seem like they only have one active contributor, as they dump like 60 videos right after another, resulting the frontpages to have just one note content. This, however, could be gixed by otion to group conecutive uploads as “[latest video] and [n] other videos from [user]”, which would help to find more diverse content, as well as discourage dumping.

Then again, that is only my opinion, and if PeerTube is fine for others, who am I to complain. It just doesn’t seem to be for me :/

I personally find it rather infuriating that swapping those is made so difficult, and to this day don’t know who has more usecase for media keys and varied power buttons over function keys.

And the worst thing is, if the upper row defaults as mefia keys, and toggling Fn to be function keys by default, you also toggle numpad to the right side of the keyboard. Don’t get me wrong, I like numpad, but I quite don’t like losing half of my keyboard, because keyboard manufacturers don’t know what keys should be behind the Fn.

I live in a nordic country, very proud of it’s nature, and I know bus drivers.

In all honesty, I’d not be surprised if these cases were isolated, but that has been the greivance of these drivers.

The alternatives to this would be a heated hall, or finding a way to power the heating with renewable energy, but then again, diesel is cheaper than the alternative, and most of the passengers have no idea. There isn’t any proper sanvtions to incentivice not doing this, and considering our current ruling parties, probably won’t be either, but I consider this to be something that should be more talked about.

Interesting tidbit about public transport: there are electric busses. Those busses are used in the northern hemisphere, mainly to advertise to the public how “eco friendly the company is” to consumers. Those busses are heated by diesel aggrigators, and require to burn more fuel than what driving a diesel bus would need for the routes. And apparently diesel busses do not require this kind of upkeep when on standby.

Well, if you avoid the games with ads, it reflects poorly on profits, and maybe someone might mention to the shareholders that the reason people won’t play their game is the invasive ads.

The reason why they still have their poopy launcher is that people adapted them, because tolerating the launcher was the requirement for them to (legally) play their games. Putting games behind a launcher did not teduce the profits enough to not continue doing so.

So yes, the way to combat this is to avoid their games thst implement ads.

There is also “Owncast”, but it seems to suffer from the same issue that peertube does; there is no integrated revenue system for the streamer, so there is little reason to put effort in to the quality, as well as it being fairly unknown, so even if you set up donos etc. the audience isn’t there.

The discoverability don’t help, since there isn’t really s good way to filter out all the “24/7 radio” -streams, so even if you actively follow the frontpage, or a category, you have to skim trough them manually. Also, there is no proper language filter (at least if you don’t have an account), and it seems it’s more popular with non-english speaking streamers.

Where doed WPS office source it’s ads? I mean, if you run it in a (more or less) sandbox (well, you might want to have access to the files you’re editing), and without access to internet, how does the ad interface behave?

Considering that the term “computer engineering” was created by a woman, programming is based on maths solved by a woman, and the push for graphics in adventure games was started by a woman, I don’t think PC Gamers list is worth even checking, as I know that many notable leaps in gaming I don’t know about have since been pushed by women.

Considering that Steam now requires for manual input for the prices for different regions, is there a tool that a) lists these regions and b) calculates the median suggested pricing for these regions in comparison to the region you (the developer) is based in?

I know an excel sheet would probably be a good start, but considering that therevare also developers in regions other than EU (€) and US ($), it would be a tremendous help to be able to input a price you have in mind, in your own currency, and have the prices calculated in other currencies in the respective regions.

To be fair… I think I need to take a deeper dive in to pssion fruit, because I do recall tasting it, and it tasting bitter. But then again, even as I tend to taste bitterness stronger than mybpeers, as that is one of the reasons I don’t like the taste of coffee (even the good one), the common denominator in the juices was pointed out to me by someone, who actually likes coffee, and I’ve never met a person in flesh, who likes passion fruit because of the bitter aftertaste.

That leads me to believe there is more to it, because it is literally impossible to find a juice here (and to be clear, if it’s not made with 100% juice, it is called “juice drink”, not juice) where the third fruit is NOT passion fruit. There are some extremely rare brands, but it feels like the people making those juices are so insistant on adding passion fruit, that it feels like they’re trying to extend the juice with that. Which then conflicts with an idea that it’s an expensive delicacy.

This then leaves few options:

1. the fruit is locally a delicacy, because most of it is exported, and the exported fruits are of lesser quality.

2. the exportation of those fruits cause them to go bad, but those who buy them in bulk completelly fail to understand this, and think that people want that shit anyways.

Non the less, this requires investigation, so I can make a more public, local, case to push for lore mixed juices that are not ruined by their lack of product testing.

In all fairness, I am not looking for a fight everywhere, I do however have tendency of responding in kind, and in this case, I may have been wrong to do so. Live and learn. But that is the danger of using South American slang in the internet, where not everyone is familiar with South American pet names for fruits that may or may taste extremely bitter for different people.

Well, we do have. Unfortunately seems to be a common ingredient. Just because they sell it as premium product wherever you are, doesn’t mean it’s actually rare. It is a common denominator for bitterness in my experience, and no matter how much you think it is not, that is what it tastes for me. People taste stuff differently. Sometimes that difference is complete opposite of someone elses taste.

The namecalling is a response to your namecalling, as I do not care, nor need to know your age nor gender, as you do not need to know mine, in this discussion of taste. Calling other people “pops” or “kid” is only demeaning, and brings nothikg to the coverstation, and warrant a sililar response.

Also, no mattet how mucg you love passionfruit, for me it tastes extremely bitter (I could’ve inserted your mom joke here, but let’s not at this time). Though for you it seems the name fits, as you seem to be very passionate about it.

I haven’t had the need to sail the seas, since BluRays are still being pressed, and the local library has a bunch of them. Free of charge. Also found a use for my old PS3.

I’d put the Kung Fury -crew on that, but considering the size of Sega, they probably want something family friendly and sanitized, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
