A good read and a validation that it’s frequently a good idea to approach new security technologies with caution. The new hotness isn’t always the best thing.
I watched this recently with my family. This episode carried a huge amount of emotion because we just moved about a year ago and all of us had challenges with the process.
For selfish reasons, part of me hoped they would move to show how the family handled it. Still a great episode though.

This is both sad from the perspective that it was the last time and nice from the perspective that during that last time, I wasn’t bogged down with that knowledge and was able to enjoy it for what it was at the time.

You could not have described my exact scenario any better. I’m in the same boat.
I have a 2015 leaf and while the estimated battery range has gone from 90’s to 60’s on mileage, it’s still kicking and gets me around the city just fine.

In my opinion it’s a needless extra step. I have had my card number compromised before and it was very little hassle to get a new card and my out of pocket was $0. Debit cards would be a completely different discussion however.
