  • You starting this by staying “I am not a criminal” proved my point.

A Wyze security failure is not putting my at risk of being robbed. There are easier ways to tell when people go on vacation. Your plan is to get illicit access to someone’s camera, hope they live near by, check up on them daily, wait for them to be gone for a couple days, assume that means they will be gone for a while longer, then rob them?

Most people post vacations on social media, why bother hacking and stalking them. Just find people who post about their international vacations on FB. Easier to do and you get much better information about how long they will be gone.

  • At times I am a sore loser, it’s not that I care if I won or lost a game. What used to upset me was getting to a point in a game where you feel losing in inevitable and no decisions you can make will allow you to win. Yet, the game is not over it might have 30 minutes left.

One thing to try is play different games. Monopoly is probably one of the worst games for this you can spend 2 hours slowly losing all your properties, just don’t play it. Personally I like games like ticket to ride, where a large part of the final score is hidden. Because you don’t know exactly where you stand the game it makes it easier to believe you have a path to victory, or at least not last place.

  • This is longer true. Social security, Medicare, and medicaid are all less than 80 years old and make up more of the federal budget than defense spending.

These are the top 5 budget item according to the us treasury for 2022. Social security 23% Heath 15% National defense 13% Medicare 13% Income security 13%

“Veterans benefits and services” is another category which I guess could be considered war spending or healthcare.

  • There was an article I read a wile back so I may be misremembering. It claimed they the wealth of southern plantations was the slaves, the land and other assets were worth hardly anything. Many of these places had large amounts of debt tied to the value of their slaves. The fear was not just that the north would make slavery illegal, but that the actions being taken to limit slavery in new states would cause the price of slaves to drop and make all the rich slave owners broke.
