Thanks for the update.
Is there are issue with Lemmynsfw? They’ve not been federating for a while now. I assumed it was because of the version difference, but there still seems to be issues.
A yiffy alt of another lemming who shall not be named. 18+, minors dni.
Male, He/Them.
A kinkwolf, into bdsm, petplay, latex, chastity, hypnosis and other fun stuff. Feel free to make flirty replies at me in responses to my posts, although I may blush.
Thanks for the update.

As the guy that submitted “giffit”, could that be a nickname or a surname instead?
“Amne” is such a cute and clever name and I feel bad about my shitpost name winning. ;_;
Lemmy.ml blocks Yiffit, I’m afraid. I’d consider looking for similar communities on lemmy.world instead.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that they usually put computer fans in them, but I don’t know if that’s true.
Oh my god. You’re wearing a suit that, I assume, absorbs moisture like a sponge.
Why would you lean against the space between two urinals?
Not in the slightest; a sexualised anthro version of anyone’s pet (or any specific IRL animal at all, really) would make me super uncomfortable.
I’m still pretty new to the terminology, tbh. I’m just going by e621.net’s tagging rules ( https://e621.net/wiki_pages/3294 ). I have no strong opinions one way or the other, if people think the same tag can apply to both, then that’s fine by me.
Disclaimer: I’m a cis male, so my opinions on what will and will not cause offense here are limited to my experience, and may not match up with those involved.
I’d honestly feel a bit uncomfortable using those terms, even abbreviated, given that as far as I’m aware they’re considered offensive or archaic. I understand that they are “standard” terms and people might not mean offense, but I think we should make the effort to avoid language we know is problematic. Adult media, I think, has a bit of a reputation of not treating intersex and trans people with respect, so maybe we can strive to be better than that.
It’s a known issue in Lemmy 0.18.3 (presumably as a result of fixes to stop the same attack that happened with emoji a while ago). I don’t have the issue number to hand, but I’m pretty sure it’s listed in the known issues somewhere.
That thread is locked, I have no idea why it’s still showing the comment box. If it knows to disable it, it should know that it can just remove it.
Just a heads up though: There are a few comments there from people on feral.cafe, which pawb.social defederates from, so you aren’t seeing the full comment list (which is probably for the better).
Big sub / small dom is a fun dynamic.
Just huddling together for warmth in the long winters.
I mean, it feels like a healthier outlet compared to like alcohol, drugs or getting mad at people online, tbh.
And yeah, I like the idea of just turning my head off and letting someone take control.
I’ve certainly had days where I wish I could just turn off and be an uwu no thoughts puppy…
Hey. I know I’ve not been posting much, but I still lurk around here.
Honestly, the past few weeks for me have been filled with anxiety over “purges” of adult content and similar, so it’s been nice to find a place such as this which is friendly towards it. I know that there has been a few pretty bad incidents here in the past, and I can see not wanting to continue the site because of them, but I hope you do. And if you do shut down the site, thank you for running it while you could.
With regards to the lemmy.ml issue, I’ve been getting sentiments across the lemmyverse (mostly from .world) that they aren’t worth interacting with. Mostly because they are very blockhappy towards anything that disagrees with their political views. Honestly, personally I’m perfectly happy with using Yiffit to only browse Yiffit communities. Like I said, it’s nice and cozy here, and we can always make accounts on more general purpose instances if we really need to.
