Do you have a code review that explains the how or the why (or WTF) of a piece of code? Please share it.

Be constructive, point out the limitations and tradeoffs, instead of just throwing adjectives.
Provide references, so we can all learn new stuff
Rule of thumb - a review explains Why the code exists; What it is meant to do; and How does it do it.
A code review is not a sales brochure. Tell us how it works, how it was tested, how it breaks. Do not self promote.

A good picture is worth 0x3e8 words, but a good code review is an x-ray into software.
