Don’t get me wrong, I’m all in on the FOSS train and I don’t approve of Microsoft’s direction with Windows but it’s still a consistently hassle-free experience compared to Linux for people who just don’t wanna deal with distros, terminals, repositories or compatibility layers.
Try emailing manufacturers and asking if they already have support, if they dont request that they start or you won’t consider their parts for your next build. Your wallet is a powerful tool that can cause companies to bend to your will if you know how to use it.
