      Indeed; it doesn’t matter how hard those Albertans are working; most of that money came from selling off a national resource that happens to be in Alberta. Albertans just get to benefit from it.

    She zeroed in on journalism schools and her thoughts that not enough conservative journalists and commentators have come out of those programs.

    That has nothing to do with federal funding and everything to do with the current version of conservatism being completely idiotic.

    Alberta is seeking powers to veto funding agreements between the federal government and provincial entities, including postsecondary institutions.

    If Alberta has a problem receiving federal funding why should the rest of us fight it? Take all the savings and divvy it up between all the other provinces that could make good use of it.
