My first sanctioned iRacing race was chaos at the start. Will I survive!?

    Ah yes, rookies. The synchronized spin at the kink (Locally known as “The Angst”) is incredibly common.

    If you are seeking to make a habit of vids like these, and you are recording in replay mode. Try to turn on mirrors and 1 dynamic cubemap in the settings. Takes some FPS out but as long as it’s faster than your recording rate it’s fine. And it elevates the fidelity of the video a bit. Good commentary!

      Thanks for the advice, yeah it’s my plan to make more videos and see where I end up. You’re right I’m recoding in replay mode as I race in VR.

          For sure I wouldn’t be racing with that FOV. Yeah, I bought a Rift CV1 “just to try” it. I haven’t raced on a flat screen since.
