US: mainly handshake, rarely 1 cheek kiss UK: mainly handshake, rarely 1 cheek kiss Argentina: 1 cheek kiss (men & women), sometimes handshake only for men Spain: 2 cheek kiss for women, handshake for men Switzerland: 3 cheek kiss for women, handshake for men

Depends a bit on context, but let’s assume you’re meeting someone new that’s being introduced to friend group (friend of friend).
